Monthly RTD Webinar - NSW Government Low Carbon Concrete Specifications
Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 12:30 pm - Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 01:30 pmJoin The Roads & Transport Directorate’s October webinar, exploring recent updates to the NSW Government Low Carbon Concrete (LCC) Specifications. This collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney, NSW DCCEEW, the EPA, and SmartCrete CRC builds on NSW DCCEEW specifications to align with local council building standards and TfNSW’s B80 and R83 infrastructure specifications.
The project is now entering the implementation phase, with various NSW Government Agencies and local councils being early adopters, including Sydney Water, Blacktown City Council, and the Hunter Joint Organisation.
The webinar will provide an overview of the changes and practical guidance to support the uptake of lower-carbon materials. It will also feature a case study from Sydney Water on their experience and lessons learned, and an introduction to the Low Carbon Concrete Accelerator program for councils.
Join our webinar to learn how the updated specifications can help councils improve the sustainability of infrastructure projects.
