Group Meeting
The IPWEA NSW & ACT Chapter Meetings serve as crucial forums for professionals in the public works engineering sector to come together, exchange knowledge, and address the challenges and opportunities facing their regions. These meetings provide an informal platform for members to discuss the latest developments in infrastructure projects, technological advancements, and best practices in public works engineering. The Regional Chapters meet two times each year, to discuss a wide range of technical issues such as environmental management, construction, water and sewerage, road maintenance, road safety, disaster recovery, and urban heat island. In addition, special meetings may be called for the AGM or other special events such as seminars, working parties, etc.

Focus of Chapter Meetings
One key aspect of the IPWEA NSW & ACT Chapter Meetings is the focus on local issues and solutions. The gatherings are designed to address the unique challenges and priorities of local government and their communities. This local communities approach ensures that discussions are relevant to the specific needs of attendees, allowing for targeted and actionable insights. Whether it's addressing the impact of climate change on infrastructure, disaster recovery or navigating regulatory changes, these meetings provide a space for professionals to collaborate on effective solutions tailored to their local context.

Attendees have the chance to connect with colleagues, industry experts, and other likeminded professionals fostering relationships that can lead to partnerships and a stronger professional network.
