Fixing Country Bridges Program – Round 2 Applications Extended

Round 2 of the Fixing Country Bridges Program is now open for applications. Councils can apply for funding to replace ageing timber bridges in their local areas. The closing date for applications has been extended to 5pm on Wednesday 24th November 2021. 

Following the Round 2 online information session held on Thursday 21st October 2021, Transport for NSW will be hosting a joint presentation with the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia NSW & ACT for councils.  

In this session we will cover:  

  • Site investigation and Design considerations 

  • Bridge options and Construction methods 

  • Council case study
