Bridge Design Training - 2 Virtual Sessions - 10.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
IPWEA NSW & ACT has developed basic training for Bridge Design based on the IPWEA BRIDGEdesign Guide. The 4-hour course will cover basic information required for the investigation, design, construction and maintenance of new bridges, to ensure that safety and quality assurance requirements are met throughout. It will also include case-studies and the opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas with experienced professionals. Click here for the full flyer.
Your attendance at this course will provide you with a basic understanding of:
- Investigation of design parameters
- Bridge Design specifications
- Bridge Construction
- Bridge Maintenance considerations
Mick Savage has worked in Local Government for more than 40 years, including 27 years with Randwick City Council. His career has included chapters with responsibilities in road and pavement design, contract and specification preparation, traffic engineering, road construction and maintenance (including maintenance of recreation facilities), street and sports field lighting and project management.
Cancellations made by the registrant not less than 5 working days from commencement of the workshop/course will be able to transfer to the next available workshop/course or send a substitute.
A substitute delegate is allowable with written notification to email@example.com, no less than 3 working days prior to the workshop.
Cancellation or non-attendance by the registrant at an alternative workshop/course will see the full course fee applied with no refund.
Cancellations by the registrant made under 5 working days from the workshop/course commencement date or non-attendance on the day will see the full course rate applied with no refund.
If IPWEA NSW cancels a course for any reason 5 working days’ notice will be provided by phone or email.
Registrants will be able to transfer to another course or receive a full refund.
IPWEA NSW will not be liable for any associated costs to the registrant or their organisation that may arise from the cancellation of any training event. This includes travel costs and accommodation.
