What is the 3rd Annual Development Engineering Forum?

Held on Wednesday 16th September 2020, Local Government professionals and developers come together and discuss policy, practice, matters for advocacy and legal developments demonstrating how to achieve success on current projects by implementing new practices and minimising risk.

The 3rd Annual Development Engineering Forum is NSW’s leading forum, streamlining engineering processes within the Public Works and Engineering sector and relevant for all levels of Public Works professionals. In conjunction with our Membership and Technical Panels, the program has been designed by Engineers for Engineers.

This Forum is specifically designed for Council Engineers, Design Engineers, Town Planners and Development Engineers in the Public Works Sector. You will walk away with new processes to implement and execute. A platform for great debate, discussion and desired outcomes on completing projects more efficiently.


How can I get involved - in person or virtual?

IPWEA NSW for the first time ever are excited to offer our Members the choice to attend the Forum face-to-face or virtually! This is our chance to bring people together in new, innovative ways combining the best of in person and virtual experiences.

Hybrid events are the way forward therefore the 3rd Annual Development Engineering Forum is stepping up to embrace this challenge. Hybrid events take place in a physical venue while also being attended by a live and interactive audience online. This allows us to combine the best of live, in person elements and include digital, online components. Our professional Audio Visual team will be on site, live streaming the Forum so you don’t miss out on the action regardless of where you are.

The Forum will still take place face-to-face at the Holiday Inn, Warwick Farm facilitating that crucial face-to-face interaction whilst ensuring your health and safety. In person participants will be treated to delicious catering including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a three-course dinner. These breaks can enable fundamental discussions that may be missed online.
